The Journey Begins.

So it begins.

With a full heart as i look back on the path that i have trodden through, carrying my years of experience as a sound systems engineer, i take my first step into the fresh new world of Cloud computing. "Why are you doing this? Are you just leaving it all behind?" Questions that have been thrown my way when i made aware of my plans to move into a new industry. As i ponder my replies, i just found it hard to contain my excitement of what new adventures that are to come my way, what new problems and puzzles that i will find fulfilling to solve. It's like embarking on a voyage with the entire ocean as my oyster and I'm so here for it.

With every new beginning, Fear of the unknown and feelings of uncertainties are as natural as the air we breathe. Understanding that fear makes you alert and stronger, and having those feelings makes you conscious of your current status. Those two pillars naturally becomes your guide as to how you should proceed from this point in time. I fear my lack of knowledge will hinder me, i feel i might not stand a chance against eternal factors not of my control, but i will remedy. I have always done so in my past, using my fear to drive my motivation for knowledge, using uncertainties to springboard action taking.

Now, the process begins, first being building knowledge, then with building confidence. You can't set sail on a journey if you don't even know how a ship works.
